Watched Twilight already!
As Zine so tastefully put it, of all people in Singapore, i watch it with my younger brother.

Can't be helped. It was either him or alone. lol. SAD i know.

~Spoiler Alert~

Well, i can't say for sure whether it's totally awesome, but i'm cool with the movie. Kristan Stewart's acting was great! i liked the way she portrayed Bella and she really did a good job. However, i wish i can say the same for the others. Hahaha

Sorry folks, but for starters, i just don't like Jasper in the movie!
I love Jackson Rathbone, but i don't like the way he acted as Jasper. And personally i don't think he fits the role; i mean he's too skinny to be Jasper. Isn't Edward supposed to be the leanest?

OK OK, his acting wasn't that good, Same goes for Robert Pattinson. Both of them looked as if they were having constipation and wanted nothing more than to rush to the nearest toilet. They were just trying to hard to be vampires with thirst issues. It was too forced. I suppose i could say that. ~sighs~

Maybe it's because that they're supposed to be mind-blowing and devastatingly attractive vampires that lead me to having unrealisticly high expectations to those who were casted to be vampires.


However, there was one vampire that i simply adored! It's EMMETT! yay! i can totally understand why Stephenie Meyer fought for Kellan Lutz to be casted as Emmett. He so totally fits that role! Like 100%. My love for Emmett just intesified.

Strangely, i just happened to like Victoria...alot. i don't know why either. She just seems so cool! haha!

So in general, the vampires didn't really struck a chord in me, but the humans, i loved! The actors portrayed their fellow human characters, Charlie, Jessica, Mike, Eric etc etc , really well i felt. Funny bunch. Funny, cute bunch. Loved The pack too. (Don't you think the guy in the middle is uber cute? XD I think it's Paul, Embry and Jacob. But not too sure about Paul and Embry. The first one should be Paul, since he's supposed to be grumpy and stuff and the guy does look grumpy. Sorry if i'm mistaken though.)

Well only the three of them. Jacob, Paul and Embry was it? Either Paul or embry was damn cute. But i can't figure out who was who. Taylor Lautner also did a good job, but i only wished he got a bit more of screen time. I would have loved to see him more. Just hopes he gets it in New Moon.

Ok, overall, i enjoyed the movie, BUT i really just think that it's only a scaled down, condensed version of the book.
SO to enjoy Twilight to it's fullest potential, go read the book.
All four of them.
You won't regret it.

AND here's some trivia i found out!

If you happen to watch carefully, you will spot Stephenie Meyer in one of the scenes. Ok, it's not really that hard to spot her. It's darned obvious.

Robert Pattinson's accent slips a few times in the movie. Do look out for this! It's hard to spot but it's soooo adorable!

~Favourite Scenes~
Here's some of my favourite scenes :

I just loved the scene when the Cullens walk into the cafeteria! It's AWESOME! Like ~woah~. It's so cool, especially when it's Edward's turn to walk in. heh * wink wink *

Next scene i loved is when The cullens are getting ready before they meet Bella for the first time. Carlisle, Esme, Emmett and Rosalie are cooking, with the Food Network channel running on the "flatscreen" ( i think that's what the americans are calling their tvs nowadays ). This scene is so adorable! Like how many times do you get to see a bunch of vampires cooking for a human? LOL

Moving on, this scene i LOVED! It's when Bella and Edward officialises their relationship or something and Edward brings Bella to school in his Volvo. They get out of the car to go to school and during this whole scene, Edward is wearing this somewhat goofy sun glasses and also wearing this goooofy, but such a darned cute smile on his face. I was practically melting in my seat. And still smiling like a cute goofball, he slungs his arms over Bella. That was soo perfect. ~swoon~ again.

Well, there's more, for example the hot scene where Edward and Bella kiss like there's no tomorrow but i'll just save it for another day perhaps. Gosh they were pratically devouring each other. ~sighs~

Yeah so if you want to watch it, you'll probably only enjoy it if you're a fan of the book (like me) or you're some die-hard, hopeless romantic (unlike me). Yeah, i think that's about it. It's all that i have to say at the moment, so i hoped you enjoyed my "review" of Twilight. :)

Now i shall continue with my Twilight fanfiction reading. wahahahah!

Well nothing much happens in my life. I went shopping with nek to Plaza sing today, then met up with Yibs there to do some artsy shopping.

Nek was begin demanding as always and Yibs was being ever so sardonic towards Nek. haha. I was just being the spectator as Nek went in search of her pink stuff.

Then went window-shopping, and i bought this awesome baking book thing for like 10 bucks. it's so cool.

SO, i baked apple crumble pie today! it turned out, well, not how it was supposed to be, but still good. heh.

OMG so sorry for totally NOT updating. Was busy with choir and all few weeks back, and totally glad to say that Choir had a awesome kick-ass performance on the 22nd nov!!! AWESOMENESS MUCH. wahahahha

I LURVE going to the pool! I never ever would have guessed that singapore's neighbourhood pools would have HOTT lifeguards! !!! Seriously speaking! But it's uber embarrassing, cause, i don't exactly swim like Michael Phelps ( who does? ), ok bad example but i'm a really bad swimmer and even my own brother tells me i swim like i'm drowning. It's darned friggin embarrassing when you just know that the lifeguard will be looking at you swim/drown. TOO BAD he didn't jump in to save me. i wouldn't mind at all. ~sighs~

It's quite late, or shall i say early in the freaking wee hours of the morning right now. And i can't escape from music classes tomorrow. ARGH.
